Main Event Hero (1).png

Stone Mountain Elementary PTO's goal to raise more than $130,000, not for extras, but for essentials. While these funds don't pay teacher salaries, they do provide the resources that help teachers teach effectively and students thrive.

Whether you attend "the Main Event" on Friday, October 2, at the Wide Open Saloon, bid on auction items, contribute to your class basket, or make a donation, every dollar helps bridge the gap between school funding and the resources that help every student learn, grow, and thrive.

Saddle Up for SME

For our youngest learners, that includes something as simple—but essential—as copying and printing.

Young children learn by doing: coloring, cutting, building, tracing letters, and writing by hand. These hands-on experiences strengthen fine motor skills, reinforce classroom lessons, and lay the foundation for future learning in ways digital screens simply can't replace.

Online Learning

As students grow, their needs evolve. That's why each year our PTO provides additional funding to personalized, computer-based lessons in reading and math that adapts to each student's learning level.

By identifying skill gaps, offering appropriately challenging lessons, and tracking progress, the i-Ready instructional seats help students build confidence while staying on pace with grade-level standards. Together, these investments ensure our students have the tools they need to learn, grow, and succeed from kindergarten through fifth grade.
