In the past, money raised from The Main Event was used to pay for additional staff at Stone Mountain Elementary to keep class sizes smaller than the district average.  Unfortunately, due to newly implemented district guidelines, PTO funds are no longer allowed to be used toward staffing needs in the building.  So, how do we continue to keep class size low?  As you know, we receive funding from the state and the district to run our school each year.  Currently, we spend 100% of those dollars on staffing to keep our class sizes low.  So how will we fund the other costs that occur in running a school when we spend all of our state and district dollars on staffing?  This is where your fundraiser dollars will come into play!

Please refer to the pie chart below to see how the fundraising dollars from this year's Main Event will be used to help support SME for the 2022-2023 school year. 100% of all funds generated will go directly to SME!

Our goal this year is to raise $100,000!
