At SME, our tradition of giving goes hand in hand with our tradition of excellence. With 18 John Irwin Awards and 16 Colorado Governor’s Distinguished School honors, your donations help keep the programs and resources that make our school great.
Full-Time Specials Programming
Every student enjoys Art, PE, and Music, plus monthly library, Cub Connections, and Investigation Station for K–6—keeping learning engaging and well-rounded.
Specialized Student Support
A full-time and part-time Gifted & Talented facilitator, two Reading Interventionists, and one Math Interventionist provide personalized support or enrichment for every student.
What Your Donations Do
Your support doesn’t pay teacher salaries, but it funds the programs and resources that enable teachers to teach effectively and students to thrive. This year, donations will have the biggest impact in three key areas:
i-Ready Instructional Seats
Personalized, computer-based lessons in reading and math adapt to each student’s level. i-Ready fills skill gaps, challenges students appropriately, and builds confidence—all while aligning with grade-level standards.
Curriculum Materials
Additional classroom resources, like enVision® math workbooks, give teachers the tools they need to deliver high-quality instruction every day.
Copying & Printing
Young learners benefit from physically interacting with materials—coloring, cutting, building, or writing by hand. Printed worksheets and activity pages help develop fine motor skills and reinforce learning in ways digital screens can’t fully replicate. Printing also ensures every student has access to lessons and helps families stay engaged at home.
